Congratulations to Bonnie & Santiago on their fantastic wedding! Though the weather was chilly and damp, the rain let up just enough for us to capture the charm of historic Annapolis with the truly gorgeous & marvelous couple and their wedding party. They pledged their love and commitment to each other, celebrated, and danced the night away at the lovely Governor Calvert House. Many thanks to Michelle Vellon and the fab crew at the Governor Calvert House, Jill Sherrard for the best hair & make up, York Flowers for the pretty bouquets, The Rev. Daniel Kane for officiating the heartfelt (and multilingual) ceremony, Fiona’s Cakes for the pretty & yummy desserts, Andrew Boon for the super fun Photobooth, and Carl at C&J Entertainment for keeping the party hot! Cheers & Salud to Bonnie & Santiago! May their lives be filled with love, laughter, and adventures around the world!
It was a snappy but sunny day in the capital of the Free State. I had a blast with the newly engaged Stephanie & Nick, even showed them some charming places in Annapolis, that these (mostly) Maryland natives had yet to see. Congratulations to Stephanie & Nick on their betrothal and we are looking forward to their epic wedding day in November!
Though it was a chilly day in Charm City, we had the pleasure and the priviledge of photographing Shannon & Ed’s lovely day of commitment, merriment, sonatas, and sonnets. The stunning bride wore a gorgeous Amethyst gown, the handsome groom, a good-looking grey suit. Their wedding ceremony was held at the truly spectacular St. Alphonsus Church with the wonderful Reverend William Spacek presiding. If you love historical churches, St. Alphonsus, built in 1845, is a must see. Their reception was held at the excellent Hotel Monaco Baltimore (another fabulous place for historical architecture). Many thanks to the couple’s friend, Rev. Spacek, the catering staff at the Hotel Monaco, the St. Charles String Quartet for the superb sounds, Crimson & Clover for the bouquets, Sheryl (the Bride’s MOH) for the amazing wedding cake, and all the guests for cooperating for the epic group portrait along the hotel’s marble staircase! Congratulations to Ed & Shannon! May your lives together be filled with love, laughter, and lyrics.

Congratulations to Katie & Dave on their absolutely gorgeous wedding day! The bride was STUNNING and so elegant. The groom was HANDSOME and so dapper. The wedding party was hilarious. And everyone had a fantastic time. Tremont Grand is a tremendously amazing venue and their staff & catering is superb. Many thanks to the bride’s mom, Mary, and to Aubrey Canale of Simply Created Events for their major roles in the complete success of this very special day. Cheers to Katie and Dave! May they enjoy many decades of splendid marriage bliss and adventure!
What an amazing afternoon Brian & I had with this marvelous couple on the Saturday before Halloween and Sandy the ‘Frankenstorm.’ It was good to see New Yorkers everywhere having a blissful day in their lovely Central Park where I daresay many a beautiful old tree succumbed to the storm’s wrath. We hopped all around the city and had a fabulous time getting to know Renee & Dave…next up…their epic Baltimore wedding day in December!
Congratulations to Amber & John! What a spectacular Autumnal Equinox wedding day in beautiful Baltimore. We had a crazy fun time running around town capturing photos at the Washington Monument and Federal Hill. Then an absolutely picture perfect ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor on their 6th floor pool deck (a new space for us in a familiar venue). And as the newlyweds were introduced at the reception in the Pisces Room, the rain came…you just can’t ask for anything better! Many thanks to Connie at Bridal Hair Design for the great up dos and down dos for the ladies, Nina at Bridal Elegance for superb make-up, Scentsational Events for the gloriously vibrant bouquets and centerpieces, Sugar Bakers for the fabulous cake, Ty at Good Vibrations for getting the folks on the floor to dance the night away, and of course, the terrific staff of the Hyatt Regency for the delicious meals, very attentive service and attention to every detail. Cheers to Amber & John! May you live, love, and laugh together for many decades to come!
What do Tornadoes, Sharks, The University of Oklahoma, and Pumpkins have to do with each other? Christine: the lovely Bride, Lucas: the smashing Groom and their amazing wedding day! Their big day was unique, truly personal, and heartfelt. Great locations in Baltimore: Hotel Monaco, the Inner Harbor, and the National Aquarium. Excellent people: their loving family and friends. Super duper couple who show, without a doubt that their relationship is one of respect, sharing, and caring. Many thanks to Bruna Nelson and the staff at the Hotel Monaco for their support for the guests and maintaining such a beautiful space, Victoria Payerle, the staff at the National Aquarium, and especially to Calypso the Green Sea Turtle (who made a special appearance during the ceremony) for providing an amazing location for the ceremony and reception, EcoGreenRide for shuttling all of us around downtown Baltimore (during the Grand Prix), Silver Immersion for the ladies fabulous hairdos, Wegmans Hunt Valley for the flowers, Classic Catering People for the delicious dinner, Charm City Cakes for an unbelievably unique and yummy cake, Jason Wallace of Absolute Entertainment for his fantastic DJ skills (as usual), and Jill Apperson of R&R Events for adding a touch of luminance to a very special ceremony, officiated by the same person who married the Bride’s parents: the Reverend Ken Williams of The First Baptist Church of Rochester, NY. Simply put: an excellent day of love and unity! Congratulations to Christine & Lucas, may your lives together be filled with much happiness, adventure, and a great appreciation of all forces of nature (from a safe distance).
Congratulations to Katrina & Josh on their tying the knot! No amount of rain was going to put a damper on this spectacular wedding day at the lovely 1840s Ballroom. The bride was absolutely stunning, the groom quite smashing and an amazing time was had by all! Many thanks to Juan and the folks at the 1840s Ballroom & Carrollton Inn, Iris, Matt, and their fabulous staff and outstanding catering at Zeffert & Gold, DJ Remell Segovia for cranking out the tunes, Fantastic Floral Events for the lovely bouquets, Danita Tsinnie for the excellent reception decor, Andrea Shartel and Sandy Coady for the fantastic make up and hair, and Adam of Framester for the super fun cheesy photo booth. Cheers to Katrina & Josh and may their future together be magical!
What a great evening I had with Christine & Lucas! And, I truly have to thank my rickshaw driver for passing by this amazing secret garden next to the Hirschorn Museum. Though it was fairly blustery, I had a blast photographing the fabulous couple, getting to know them a little bit better, and hearing the details of their upcoming wedding in September. DC is a great place to do photos anytime…just glad we were able to get plenty of pics of the Washington Monument before it gets covered in scaffolding to replace the broken masonry from last year’s earthquake…DC is always historic, making history, and always under construction…just like a beautiful relationship!
